Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: Lk. 12:24. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?  (KJV)

The hope we have in God isn't some ephemeral: here now and gone later for I tell you in all certainty, that God is more real than you and I and we can see it in the beat of our hearts that go 'dhap, dhap…' and we don't even know it's happening even as it's happens for God is in it and He keeps it beating.   Oh, I really don't know says the man on the street who's suddenly been told this, and funnily, he knows it and just isn't aware of it.  Similarly, we aren't aware of this thing called the provision of God, mistakenly thinking it's us who make it possible.   No matter what happens to the world, His provision is for you, for He created you and He didn't create you to live without food.  It's the greed of men that keeps others out of their food, not God.

No matter who you are and what your status is on earth, you'll yet get your food for remember food comes from the bosom of the earth and it's a gift of God for His creatures and mind you, no man can keep you from it if you believe in the One who created that food.  Also know that no man, no matter how great he is can produce even a single grain of food in the laboratory; from this you can make out how great man is.

But God, yeah all glory be to Him, is aware of every person on earth, even if he or she be inside an aircraft or a shuttle or a ship.  And Bless His Name, He yet deems it His right to feed His creatures.  Therefore my friend, fret not thinking where your food will come from, particularly when there's nothing at home; He know the way to deliver it into your stomachs. Truly if you've prayed then God is about to work a big thing in your life.  Yesterday, when I was talking to Him about my own troubles and told Him how I kept my faith in Him, He just put this thought in my mind: if you say you've kept faith, look at the way you think and live!!!  I realized then the way I live is the way one would live without faith.  But still, He knows and He pardons and He grants. And think, though the birds and other creatures do not collect food and He yet feeds them, then how much more will He feed you, who are the apple of His eye?
