Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: Heb. 11:3. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
Yesterday we looked at faith as something that keeps us steadfast in an otherwise shaky world; and though there're rich and famous men who say they're self made and don't believe in God, theirs is a sight to watch when because of a terminal disease they realize the world is going to shut in on them and it's time to depart. Yeah, truly the fear that sets in is remarkable. For that is the time they suddenly realize that there's an upper mansion and there is the Creator of all who abides in that mansion, His Name being God. And for many of them it's a bit late for they cannot form a relationship with Him in the little time they have as their hearts are so calloused it's impossible to be sensitive to His ways and fall into His arms like a little child.
But for those who have faith, the scenario is totally different. They understand and know that the world was brought into being by the singular and most powerful Word of God (recall how the molecules of water transformed into molecules of wine, when Jesus performed the miracle at Cana). They learn that despite what man does to the earth in his sinister yet childish wisdom and imbecile knowledge, GOD CONTROLS EVERYTHING. They also comprehend that God's power just has Him say the Word and it comes to be – just like that – remember Jesus said, 'Come forth Lazarus' and the man who was dead for four days and stinking with the putrid flesh his form had assumed, came out of the grave, hands and legs tied!
Ah, the wonder that God's Word is: the transforming power by which we vessels of frailty and death are transformed into brilliance and life; and the only parameter that puts us in line to appropriate all the power of God, is FAITH. When we imbibe the faith God gives us, we realize that all things are perfectly under the command of the Supreme Commander – His Majesty, Yahweh God. In surrendered fashion then let us go to the throne of His Grace that through His mercy we may live our lives fully as citizens of His kingdom and someday view Him face to face and sing His praises forever.
