Thoughts for Another Day

Today's verse: Tobit 12:7. It is good to keep close the secret of a king, but it is honourable to reveal the works of God. (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
God has always done good things for us. There're many difficulties He has removed us from and protected us in His own way. His principles desire that we reveal the good He has done for us – both for His praise and that men may know that He is the God who can do amazing things for His people. He works silently and regularly in our lives and we see this as nothing out of the ordinary and we take them for granted; that isn't right in His sight for He desires that all come to know Him and the work of His hand.
Which is why, God commands Moses to write down all the wondrous things He did for the people of Israel when they came out of Egypt so that the generations to come would know of His mighty deeds – see Deut. 31:19. A king may do something which he may seek to keep secret for in its secrecy lies his safety but God's work unlike that of a king has to be proclaimed to everybody. It is by standing up and declaring His work that we are able to reveal His glory and His great might to the nations. By this are the people saved, both for life here and life hereafter (as seen in Rev.12:11).
So if you know of any good that you have experienced, do rise and shout it out for the glory of God and you will be blessed.
