Thoughts for Another Day

Today's verse: Job 33:28. He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light. (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
Here's the assurance we need from God: He delivers our souls from going into the pit and our lives shall witness the light for God is our Great Redeemer.
When man fell, the devil must've thought, man is finished; being extremely glad that God's choicest and most beloved creation, had fallen just like him and that God would no more be able to put man ahead of himself. But he had never reckoned or known God's love for man and that God had already prepared a life-line for him even before the foundation of the world.
Eventually the Savior promised to us came on earth, born of a woman, frail in every sense of the word, yet with no sin. Probably the deceiver of souls failed to understand God's power working on man's behalf for God's power is beyond the devil's comprehension. Then Jesus went and did the impossible – He died a criminal death, the worst kind after being mercilessly beaten. Satan would've probably laughed his head off thinking, 'ha, what salvation can this Man give, He can't even help Himself!' But on the third day when Jesus rose from the dead and the mystery of His death and resurrection was revealed, satan knew he was defeated forever. Oh, if he had only known before, he wouldn't have instigated the high priests and others to destroy the Son of man; but it was too late.
Today we rejoice that we have Jesus as our Spokesperson before the throne of Grace and that is why our Scripture stands firm for truly, He will deliver our souls from death and we shall see His brilliant light, rejoicing in His kingdom.
