Today's verse: Ps. 56:9. When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me. (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
There's great benefit in crying out to the LORD. When you cry out to Him, you show your own helplessness and plead for His mercy. When you cry out to Him, your heart shows sincerity and intensity in seeking Him and He says in His Word that when you seek Him with your heart, He shall be found by you.
If there's any kind of trouble ailing you, just, just cry out to Him. When I meet people who're bogged down and out because of some disease or problem, I tell them to cry out to God. There was a brother who expired recently; he was diagnosed with lung cancer a few years back and my suggestion to him was to cry out to the Lord. I had even advised the leader of the prayer group to tell him the same; as well as ask him to go to a retreat center and sit at the feet of the LORD crying out to Him and God would certainly answer for that is His nature. But sadly, he never did that and today is dead. Discover this for yourself if you want, sit before Him and cry out - He will answer whatever your prayer is. The lady with the issue of blood was instantly healed because she attempted in her little faith to touch the hem of Jesus' garment – meaning, she was crying out to Him. Notwithstanding the crowd Jesus turned to ask who touched Him and this was so He could make known to them and us that crying out pleases Him.
There're so many instances where God works immediately in the favor of those who cry out to Him and that even today for He is the same yesterday, today and forever. And the best thing is though we're sinners, God answers our prayer when we seek Him with our hearts for He who is in the heart business is pleased when we touch His heart. And we, receiving His blessing after crying out, can say, 'When I cry out to thee, then shall my enemies flee, for I know You my God are for me.
