Thoughts for Another Day

Today's verse: Jn. 10:27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: (KJV)

Jesus' sheep, always hear His voice.  They may yield themselves to the evil schemes of the powers of the world, but eventually they hear His voice and obey Him.  They can sense Jesus' pain when they do wrong things but like our Scripture says, they're the ones who hear His voice and follow Him whole-heartedly.

There may be many stages in the lives of Jesus' sheep…some of them are most painful in their walk with Him for many times they stray and go away; but the Lord doesn't abandon them nor forsake them. How can He for He knows His role as their God; as their Father and Caretaker.  He calls them back gently, cajoling them with His life-giving message.  He knows them well and gives them the Grace to withstand the tribulations of the world and its distressing times so that they will be safe even in the most difficult moments.

Jesus our Savior is Rock solid and True.  He is our Good Shepherd and we are the blossom of His flock.  He endears us to Himself and finds us lovely to behold, the way a Master Artist looks with great pride at the finesse of the work of his hand on the canvas.  Jesus is faithful and He gives us the Grace to hear and follow Him.  Turn not aside from His call my friend and live eternal life.
