Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: Hab. 2:14. For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. (KJV)
Times are when I look at the world around me and I wonder how the promises of God will be fulfilled. Such tremendous promises that we cannot even envision them, leave alone, work toward their fulfillment. One of them is the above verse.
As sure as the sea is enveloped by water, the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD! Which means that every man on the face of the earth will know God and His glory will be revealed to every being on earth. It is extremely difficult for us to conceive this because we look at the situation through the eyes of the world. Moreover, when we look at the situation, we see so much pain, depression, hardened hearts, opposition to the Gospel and so on.
But when God says something, He means it and He possesses the power to do it. In time I believe that God will change the minds of people across the world and bring them to the knowledge of Christ His Son. As you and I pray, we shall surely witness this come to pass even as water covers the sea.
And I believe that His people will not perish for lack of knowledge, for God Himself will be their Teacher. He will remove the thickness of our minds and teach us His ways. He will glory over us and wipe every tear. Yes, and He will make all things new. It will be, as doth a father and son sojourn together that the sons of men will sojourn with God and worship Him. Oh, it will be a glorious sight and worthy of beholding. You and I who have believed in the Lamb of God and rejoice in His Name will partake in it and behold it. Yes, and God Himself will bring it about. Countless are the times when God has kept His Word and He will keep it again but only this time it will affect every human being. Believe it; pray and you will rejoice.
Have you felt the whiff of cool air as it brings in much needed showers on a hot summer afternoon? Have you tasted a small bit of bread after hours and days of not having had anything? Have you experienced the satisfaction of an intense need being met? My friend, Jesus Christ can give you this satisfaction and much more. Now is the time to bring Him into your life. Just say, 'Lord Jesus, I believe in you. Come into my life right now. Heal my sin. Heal everything.'
