Thoughts for another day

January 3, 2007

Today's verse: Song of songs 4:7. Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. (KJV)

What thought does God have when He looks down upon you and thinks of you? The above verse says it all. You may not believe it right? But that is the truth. For God sees us wrapped in His righteousness received when we believe in Him.

Let me take you back to the time of creation. When God looked at the work of His hands before He made man, He found it was good. Then He created man – male and female and He looked then at the work of His hands and mused and found it, Very Good. It was man who made the difference between good and very good. Man was the zenith of God’s creation and God really created us with tremendous care. Look at your self and see, how wonderfully you are made. See the bones, the sinews and the nerves criss-crossing the entire body. Look at the way you can think. Look at your emotions. Truly you are the choicest of ‘fine-art creations’ and God then showered His love over you.

Then sin happened and there was a blemish in you so therefore, God’s purity could not accept you. However, in the fullness of time, God’s Son Jesus Christ washed away this blemish with His Own blood shed on the cross when He died for us. Today, my beloved in Christ, you are well… clean and all fair and without blemish of any sort. And the wonder of it all is that, God loves you. And He wants you for Himself. Ah beautiful creature of God, are you willing to be cared for and nurtured by your maker who is your spouse? Say yes and drink of the fount of His love and eat of the choicest fruits in His garden.
