Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: Ps 94:19. When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. (RSV)
Far above where you are, what you think and what you do, there is God who sees you. Every step you take and each move you make is beholden by His omnipresence and omniscience. And you know what? When grief strikes at the bottom of your heart and sorrow grips your being, He is aware and what does He do? He sends you comfort.
Yes, my friend, the God of all comfort is distressed when you are and He sends you His comfort and peace instantly. The solution to your problem does not come immediately for there is a work He is working in you of which you may not be aware. But as sure as the sun rises in the morning, He is right besides you allowing things not so good to happen because He loves you. But remember He is there in your pain to overlook and see that you suffer no harm.
In this period, He sends you peace and joy deep down in your heart for that’s what you need at the moment. And in time, He will lift the dark ominous clouds and His light will then pour out on you. In that moment you will know that the Guardian of Israel and the Lover of your soul is there for you and watching you closely.
I appeal to you my beloved in Christ, get off from your ritualistic perch and bend your knee to Heaven. Pray…pray…pray. The world is in for a lot of tribulation and strife. What is needed is peace; not only for you but also for the world. God can and will step in even as satan swipes the world with all kinds of misery, and He will render peace. But He needs you to pray. More than ever before, God is looking up to you to hold His feet and wage a war against satan and his tribe. Prayer peppered with the Word, is the only weapon you can wield and you need to use it now. Will you do it for the sake of eternity?
Have you felt the whiff of cool air as it brings in much needed showers on a hot summer afternoon? Have you tasted a small bit of bread after hours and days of not having had anything? Have you experienced the satisfaction of an intense need being met? My friend, Jesus Christ can give you this satisfaction and much more. Now is the time to bring Him into your life. Just say, 'Lord Jesus, I believe in you. Come into my life right now. Heal my sin. Heal everything.'
