Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: 2 Ki. 19:25. Hast thou not heard long ago how I have done it, and of ancient times that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass. (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
Do you know that everything that is happening with you and everything that will happen, is known to God. Besides, all, that is going to happen, has been ordained by Him, long before you or for that matter, the world came into being.
The immensity of God just cannot be imagined. His awesomeness can be gauged only to a degree and that would probably take us to the limits of our brain’s capacity. Yes, He is an awesome God. He is very familiar with our ways and He knows our every thing. He knows exactly how we will react being given a particular stimulus and how we will act in any particular situation. As an example, let me tell you, He even knows whose is the next phone call you receive, what will be the conversation and even how long the call will be. God’s planning has happened long before the foundation of the world was laid. At a time appropriate to Him, He brings things to pass.
How is this relevant to us? Take for example you are undergoing a major crisis. When you go through it, you suffer. Now, realize that God knew about it long ago. Know that God will bring a solution after you pray. If you have prayed sincerely, God has answered. You need to look at your life after the solution, even if your experience at the moment is painful. The result may not be immediate but it will come. You need to align with the knowledge of God. Of course, there is the question of God’s will on this. But if you read scripture, you will realize that God’s will is not that you suffer unjustly. And even if you merit suffering, when you approach God and confess your sin, He is faithful to pardon it and grant you the Grace to over come the pitfalls you face because of your sin.
This way, even if the world brings tribulation, you will be at peace, knowing you can trust your God and live a full life. God will bring to pass all that He has ordained, but I can tell you, that nothing He does will ever harm a dear child of His. Never.
Have you felt the whiff of cool air as it brings in much needed showers on a hot summer afternoon? Have you tasted a small bit of bread after hours and days of not having had anything? Have you experienced the satisfaction of an intense need being met? My friend, Jesus Christ can give you this satisfaction and much more. Now is the time to bring Him into your life. Just say, 'Lord Jesus, I believe in you. Come into my life right now. Heal my sin. Heal everything.'
