Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: 1 Cor 3:19. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
In various ways, in His Word, God tells us about His ways. And as we read and understand, many times we find that, God’s ways are not the way we work. God, very clearly tells that our ways are not His ways and our thoughts are not His thoughts. How can they be anyway? Because we are limited in thinking, we do not know beyond… But He does; and since He knows, He works in a manner, which is permanent for He can see the results of that 50 years or hundred or an eternity later while we can only predict what may happen the next month, etc.
So it is with our wisdom. Whatever wisdom and intellect we possess fails to even recognise itself when compared to the infinite wisdom of our Father. We may very wisely think of our future and plan things accordingly and then we relax expecting what we have planned will roll out. In Lk. Ch 12 we have the story of the rich fool who planned the way we do, later we know what happens to him. So also it is with our plans. We may, with all our wisdom and our talent, have planned things out; but then we may not have included God into them, which is a sure sign of things waiting to go awry in the future.
Beloved, remember that God is omniscient and He knows everything from the beginning to the end. Now if we want to lead our lives in a manner worthy of Him, we must realize that we need to garner His wisdom and nurture it for it is only then that we will not fail. His word says, that we should ask Him wisdom and God will give it to us generously. We must not rely on our own wisdom but must depend on the wisdom of God. Then we will see His power unleashed in our lives as God moves mightily and the whole purpose of our life falls into place, finally bringing glory to our Father in Heaven.
Have you felt the whiff of cool air as it brings in much needed showers on a hot summer afternoon? Have you tasted a small bit of bread after hours and days of not having had anything? Have you experienced the satisfaction of an intense need being met? My friend, Jesus Christ can give you this satisfaction and much more. Now is the time to bring Him into your life. Just say, 'Lord Jesus, I believe in you. Come into my life right now. Heal my sin. Heal everything.'
