Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: Ezekiel 7:3 Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. (KJV).

The writing is on the wall. The last days are upon us. To be honest, I do not usually talk about end times for I believe it is totally the domain of the Father besides I know not the derivatives of prophecy concerning the last days in the Bible, neither am I a scholar of prophetic utterance in the Word. But in my spirit I know that the end is not far off. When? Nobody (except the Father) can say but yes it is close. Could be as close as a day or a thousand days, or…

Now my beloved in Christ, read carefully the above verse. In fact, if you may, read carefully the whole of Ch. 7 of Ezekiel. It speaks of the wrath and fury of God. Not as something to be brushed aside but as something to be pondered and acted upon. Are you listening? Truly, the wickedness upon the face of the earth has burdened it beyond its bearing capacity. The cry has reached the inner chambers of the Almighty and I believe He has risen. The question you may have is the same as the people had in Ch. 2 of Acts of the Apostles, ‘what are we to do?’

My dearest friend, listen to God’s Word. Repent. This is the season for repentance. Turn from your sinful ways. Move toward the Throne of Grace and fall prostrate before the Judge of all and implore His mercy. If you believe in the Lord Jesus and are called to sup with Him in the Kingdom, fall before the Throne and implore for mercy for the nations. See my friend, souls are hurtling into the great torment. Jesus died for them too. And His heart aches with compassion for everybody. But, what can He do? For, He has given us a mind of our own and only we have the power to accept Him. Yet, He is capable of changing our hearts of stone so that we accept Him provided somebody prays.

My beloved, if you have a heart and you can pray, pray for the lost souls upon the face of the earth unto the corners thereof. Cover the earth’s surface with prayer and praise to the Great I AM Who alone can change the destiny of the nations. Pray that every human will accept Jesus as Lord unto the Father’s Glory. And if you do thus, then the Shepherd of Souls will beckon to you and say, ‘Come, faithful servant into the bliss reserved for you.’
