Thoughts for another day
Jan. 16, 2014.
Today's verse: Ps. 86:11. Teach
me your way, O LORD, and I will
walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. (NIV)
(Pls. read the above before you read
further. Thanks)
The Psalmist in this
wonderful prayer to God prays in a manner that I’m sure touched the heart of
God for how gentle and how contrite is this prayer! Sit for a moment in silence and pray the same
and you’ll hear the bells of heaven quietly chime in answer to your prayer for
it’s in tune with what the Lord desires: that we be humble before Him and walk
in His ways.
God will give all Grace to the person
who sits before Him with undiluted attention and softly asks Him to teach the
way to follow, for remember, God has charted out a path for every individual
who wants to be His disciple so that he or she may walk in it and walking in it
entails the will of God. Such a way is
right before God and the person is acceptable in His sight.
