Thoughts for another day
Jan. 8, 2013.
Today's verse: Matt. 19:26. But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men
this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
I heard this marvelous story sometime
back and it comes back to mind to reassure me that God is on my side: A widow inherited property from her dead
husband but though it was a beautiful house, within a few meters from the
house, there was a huge hill and what could have been a fantastic view was
otherwise marred by the hill. This was
deliberately given to her by her in-laws to vex her. But this widow had nowhere to go and decided
to stay in the house and with great belief in God, prayed daily that the hill be
removed! For a long time, nothing
happened and whoever visited her made a remark on the blocked view and every
time rather than feeling sad, she intensified her prayers to the One she knew
would answer her prayer, even if it meant a little wait.
One day, about to get her lunch ready,
she heard a rumble across the road and saw a number of machines and equipment
rolling toward the hill. Concerned they’d
create much noise and spoil her rest, she hobbled across and inquired of the
men with the equipment what they were up to.
To her amazement, she was told that they were from the roads department
and in the process of building a new road across, hold-your-breath…, exactly
the same location as the hill. Since the hill was an obstruction, they were
there to blow it away. There itself,
before the men, this widow knelt down and thanked God with tears in her eyes for
His great work and His love for her. The
surprised men inquired what she was doing and she told them everything. What they said further shocked her beyond her imagination. They said, when the road was being planned,
it was nowhere across the hill, but one day, the governor came to the site to
see the plan and noting the presence of the hill, asked that the road be constructed
across it. They were rather bewildered when they heard this but the governor
offered no explanation and it meant they had to do as he said.
My friend, look at the simple faith of
the widow and the marvel of our God Who heard her prayer and answered it
incredulously, as only He can. To you
and me, this is a sign to reassure our faith in Him, wherein He also tells us that
He is about to answer our prayer and rest assured, no matter what you need or
desire, He will answer it if you have asked; for He loves to answer prayer,
particularly that prayer which seeks to glorify His Name. And He can grant any prayer for there is
nothing impossible to Him. Just Believe.

Satan has deceived the whole world until the woman of Rev 12 delivers the true word of God Rev 12:5. She is not a church, she is not Israel, and she is not Mary. She is the prophet like unto Moses and Elijah Matt 17:3, Acts 3:21-23, Luke 1:17 delivering the true word John 1:1 from the wilderness Rev 12:6 to prepare a people for the Lord’s return. God our Father will not put any child of his into a hell fire no matter what their sins. It never entered the heart or mind of God to ever do such a thing Jer7:31, Jer 19:5. Turn your heart to the children of God. A gift is now delivered and proven to the whole world as a witness Matt 24:14. http://minigoodtale.blogspot.com. A righteous judge gathers ALL evidence before making a judgment. If you are called to know the true word- Prove all things.
