Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: Hab. 2:20. But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him. (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
The shrill cry of holiness in all its hushed expression is evinced in the temple of the LORD, as His awesome Presence is manifest with sheer power to drown the cacophony of men and instill in them super awe and utmost reverence to the ONE God of the universe, Yahweh by Name, Who dwells in unapproachable brilliant light; whose footstool is the earth and heaven, His throne. Across ages He is the same, the all radiant and magnificent God for whom there is no impossibility and whose arm stretches across the universe, usually to hold His creation in an embrace of love, but sometimes, even against His avowed will, to destroy, when His justice catches up with the creation of His hand, man, for his countless abominations against Him.
Yet, when I think, I wonder at the love of Him, Who holds the earth as a crucible in His palms, which led His Son, yea, His only begotten Son to die a miserable death on the most vehement instrument of the day, the Cross , a symbol of shame now transformed into 'The symbol of Glory.' A love which through Him, assigned us the Holy Spirit, the power of the deity, who dwells within our hearts giving us the right to be called 'the temple of the Most High!' My friend, ignore not this little yet awesome fact of your being that, you are the Temple of God and in you rests His Spirit, urging you to silence and utter worship so you can do the same in the life to come. And with His power in you, be the catalyst in spreading the knowledge that Jesus is Lord and Savior of the earth so that in Him, they may find rest; as in the rest in the portals of heaven, accorded a place with the angels on high, to behold Him and worship and serve Him forever.
