Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: Job 37:5. God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
I can’t help but be filled with awe at the awesomeness of our God. He is so powerful and splendor filled, it’s difficult to describe or decipher in entirety because of our human weaknesses. When I read the Word of God, I’m filled to the brim with knowledge of God’s glory and I read it with more intensity so that I can praise, glorify and worship Him even more. And the more I praise, glorify and worship Him, the more I feel I am lacking in giving Him the honor due to Him because He is a such a Majestic God, He’s worthy of every glory, all praise, every honor and every stream of worship. No human being can ever stand and say, I have glorified, worshipped, thanked, honored Him enough because all our honoring and exalting Him is so insignificant compared to His great love and His mercy which He covers us with all the time.
And the Bible shows so many significant scenarios of our God. In a way they acquaint us with Him – first hand as He speaks to us in the Bible. I love it when I read, ‘He bowed the heavens and came down…’ Ps. 18:9, I can feel a sense of elation looking at this picture of my God and I adore it because I know He is my God, He is my Father, He is my all. His Word is so vivid with so many such pictures which speak to my heart and tells me to exalt Him even more.
As for His works, well today’s Scripture tells us that He thunders with His voice and He brings into action so many things in His realm, so much so that I cannot comprehend His deeds nor understand Him. There’s such depth to God that were I to sit at His feet all my life, I could never quite reach the end of it. God spans so much of the universe, that I can only marvel and wonder at the magnitude of Him our God. He is so big that even the highest heavens cannot contain Him. Yet, this very God, awesome and majestic though He is, comes to us in such small form and says, ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love…’ There is no end to the awesome love and wonder of our God.
