Have you felt the whiff of cool air as it brings in much needed showers on a hot summer afternoon? Have you tasted a small bit of bread after hours and days of not having had anything? Have you experienced the satisfaction of an intense need being met? My friend, Jesus Christ can give you this satisfaction and much more. Now is the time to bring Him into your life. Just say, 'Lord Jesus, I believe in you. Come into my life right now. Heal my sin. Heal everything.'

Thoughts for another day
December 29, 2008.
Today's verse: Ps. 63:3. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, (KJV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
What’s the most precious and most beautiful thing in this world? It is ‘LIFE’ isn’t it? Because, life is such a thing that no one really possesses but for a while and no one can give except give away as does a soldier for the country. For us believers too, life is the most precious and beautiful gift that God has given and we really cherish it with our hearts and of course our lives.
But there’s something far better than life itself and that is the loving kindness of the giver of life. The touch of that hand of His brings the most beautiful sensation in the human being. There is so much love and concern that its not possible to believe. Perhaps, you may wonder how this is like. Let me tell you that it is like an ocean of froth in which you float with never a fear nor a doubt. It is like a cushion wherever you go and it grabs you into its smoothness.
As to God’s kindness, what can I say, except that even when we are sinners, He extends His awesome blessings to us. He pours forth His Grace into our hearts and makes us live dignified lives. Only problem is, we don’t recognise His hand in our lives. We are not able to make out the presence of God in our lives. But even though we can’t, God never holds back but blesses us even more. What we require is to be in communion with Him to really enjoy His love and His kindness. I can say from experience, that our carnal desires cringe before our desire to worship and commune with Him. In Him alone is life and life to the full and the earlier we morph our lives into His, the better our lives will be.
