Thoughts for another day

Today's verse: Ps. 36:5. Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies. (NIV)
(Pls. read the above before you read further. Thanks)
In a group we were reading this verse yesterday when suddenly the Spirit of the Lord, opened my eyes to the wisdom that God had put in David’s heart when using him for writing the Psalm.
Jesus, when leaving the earth, said, Behold I am with you always even till the end of the world. And the Word of God in Ezek. 37:27 says, ‘My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.’ Isn’t it amazing that God the greatest Splendor anywhere chooses to dwell with warped and dirty human beings!
So God dwells with us on earth and being here, the effusion of His love reaches the highest levels there could be. His faithfulness too, starts with us and reaches unto the skies. Isn’t it marvelous to learn that God really really dwells with us and that’s where it all is?
My dear friend, God is so much with us. We need to just open the windows of our hearts to His awesome presence. The Word of God also says, that we are the Temple of the Holy Ghost. How true it is. Our hearts are the inner sanctum of God’s dwelling. Nothing less. The blood of Jesus has made it possible and we who believe in Him have much to rejoice because He it is who has made His abode with you and me. What a privilege. When you take a moment off from your busy life and think about it, it should hit you hard enough and like Mary, you will say, ‘My soul magnifies the Lord.’
Have you felt the whiff of cool air as it brings in much needed showers on a hot summer afternoon? Have you tasted a small bit of bread after hours and days of not having had anything? Have you experienced the satisfaction of an intense need being met? My friend, Jesus Christ can give you this satisfaction and much more. Now is the time to bring Him into your life. Just say, 'Lord Jesus, I believe in you. Come into my life right now. Heal my sin. Heal everything.'
